

Wanda Ellen Peters, age 86, passed away Friday July 11, 2025. Wanda was born, May 23, 1939, in Deep Water, West Virginia to the late Helena and Justin Kinnaird. She is survived by, daughter, Kelle (Jeff) Carpenter, son, Kurt (Sheri) Zollinger, grandchildren; Sean (Nina), Brian (Julie), and Alyss Carpenter, Joshua (Torie), Jacob Zollinger, and Hana (Anthony) Righi, great grandkids; Oliver, Ava, Maverick, Presley, Blair, Quinn, and Ella Mae, brother- in -laws; Don Smith and Jack Heller, cousin, Judy Kinnaird, special friends, Mary Ann, Barb, and Becky, along with many other dear family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by, her loving husband, Warren Peters, sisters, Darlene Smith and Cledith Heller, niece, Christy Heller and nephew, Greg Smith.
Wanda had a deep love for Jesus and was a devoted longtime member of Genoa Baptist Church. She was an avid golfer and found joy in the outdoors—whether she was gardening, mowing the lawn, or simply soaking up the sunshine. Known for her warmth and hospitality, Wanda was an exceptional cook, especially famous for her beloved vegetable soup and her rock hard fudge. She cherished her family above all and was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Wanda dedicated many years of service as a tax administrator for the City of Reynoldsburg before retiring.
