Wayne Clagett

Wayne Joseph "Rocky" Clagett, age 82, of Columbus, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at his home. He was a dedicated employee of General Motors for over 42 years and a member of UAW Local 969. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. He loved music and played in many bands over the years. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Louise; children, Cheryl (Mike) Bartram, Nadine (Craig) O'Halla, Sharon (Tom) Erdy, Penny (Carl) Meier, Mark (Heather) Clagett, Sonya Clagett, Rebecca (Doug) Dietrich, and Brian Clagett; 14 grandchildren; many other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30am Friday, January 8, 2021 at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 2165 West Broad Street (enter from Clarendon Avenue), where friends will be received from 9:30-10:30am Friday (face coverings are required; please observe social distancing). Interment to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery; arrangements by Heart and Hope by Schoedinger. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make contributions to Mt. Carmel Hospice or St. Aloysius.
