He was a proud member and graduate of the Grove City High School Class of 1988. A lifelong resident of Grove City, Wes loved his hometown. He was a devoted employee of the City of Grove City Service Department with 28 years of service to his community. Wes's greatest love and his pride and joy was his son, Reece. He was the subject of the community wide campaign #45STRONG! which is symbolic of his standout performance wearing #45 for the GC Greyhounds football team.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clyde and Dorothy (Ranke) Holmes and maternal grandparents, Gilbert and Mildred (Gallagher) Robey.
Wes is survived by his beloved son, Reece Holmes; parents Harvey and Patricia (Robey) Holmes; several cousins, aunts, uncles, and countless close friends.
