

Wilford "Red" Williams Jr., age 86, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the home of his daughter, Debbie and "favorite" son-in-law, Dave, with his family by his side. He was born January 28, 1934 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Wilford Sr. and Edith Williams. Wilford is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Peggy Williams, children; Debbie (Dave) Cherry, Kim Cordle, Sherry Franke, and Kevin (Kay)Williams, grandchildren; Alison, Melissa, Stephanie, Brandon, Grace, Katie and Marshall, six great grandchildren, a special friend; Gary Yoli, along with many other friends and family. Red was an active man. He was a huge OSU Buckeye fan and was involved in the Buckeye Boosters and the Buckeye Club, with fond memories on the OSU Planks bus. He was also a member of FOE 3261 and Shriners. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing. He retired after many years working as a cost analyst for ATandT. Red always had a positive attitude and loved life. He was a bright presence in people's lives and will be missed deeply. The family would like to thank Fresenius Medical Care on McNaughten road.
