William "Bill" J. Bibby

William “Bill” J. Bibby, age 66, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Born on January 24, 1959, in Columbus, Ohio, he was the beloved son of Marilyn (Rogers) Bibby and the late Elwood “Bill” Bibby.

A proud graduate of Walnut Ridge High School, Class of 1977, Bill was known for his love of sports. He was a talented athlete who enjoyed and excelled at golfing, bowling, and playing baseball and football. For the past 12 years, he found great satisfaction in his work at Napa and camaraderie with his coworkers especially, Eric and Bob.

Bill is survived by his devoted mother, Marilyn Bibby; his siblings, Michael Bibby (Shari Horner), Kathleen Sedlmayr (George), Sharon Benson (Ron), and Susan Oberst (Joseph); and his cherished nieces and nephews: Lauren, Carleigh, Caitlin, Justin, Nick, Jon, Michael, and John. He is also remembered with love by his aunt, Jeanne Federer, and his longtime companion, Tammy Easter.

Family will receive friends 5-7 pm Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Schoedinger East, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. Columbus, OH 43232. A graveside service will be held 11:30 am Friday, June 13, 2025 at Holy Cross Cemetery, 11539 National Rd SW, Pataskala, OH 43062.
