

William Robert Cornwell, age 70, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2011. He was born in Columbus on October 3, 1940, and attended Mohawk High School. Bill worked as a truck driver for United Truck Service and Preston Trucking. He was a member of the Teamsters Local Union #413. He loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting, and he enjoyed games of Euchre and cups of decaf from White Castle. Most of all, Bill was all about family, and he rarely went anywhere without bringing his wife and children along. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife, Carol Cornwell; children, Charles (Cindy), Jim (Kristina), John (Schiquita), and Rob (Deann) Cornwell; grandchildren, Charles, Paul, Theresa, Melissa, Christopher, Matthew, Kyle, Samantha, Joshua, Brendin, Brittany, Justice, Jonathon, Brooklynn, Jaelynn, and Braelynn; 6 great grandchildren; and sister- and brother-in-law, Linda and Mike Rosenbaum. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Cornwell and Catherine Cornwell. Family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. on Thursday, March 10, 2011, at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 1300 Urban Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43229. Fr. Tom Petry, Celebrant.
