William J. "Bill" Fischer, age 53, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2016. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on August 15, 1962. Bill was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Fischer; and sister, Debbie. He is survived by his children, Misty Fischer and William J. Fischer II; grandchildren, Michael Chafin and Mason Mumaw; father, Alton Fischer, Sr.; siblings, Alton Fischer, Jr. and Sherri Hankle; and grandparents, George and Clara Purtee. Bill enjoyed playing and writing music, singing Karaoke, and building houses. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 10, 2016 from 4:00PM-7:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 West Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204. A graveside service will be held privately at Green Lawn Cemetery, Columbus, Ohio.
