William Lane Gray

William Lane Gray Sr, age 53 of Columbus Ohio passed away at OSU on June 25, 2021. He was born May 8, 1968, to Kenneth M. and Agnes (Coons) Gray. William joins in death his parents and his sister April Dawn Gray and brother-in-law Larry Meyer. William leaves behind his wife Rose of 19 years, siblings Carolyn Meyer, twin brother Kenneth Gray, Julia Isaac; children William L. Gray Jr, Sarah Gray, Shane Gray, Chase Gray, and Kristen Henry; grandchildren Carolos, Heaven, Jasye, and Jaxon.

William fought melanoma for 22 months, even in his darkest days, he found the good in things. He was a hard worker that would do anything for anyone. He was never without a joke to tell or without a smile on his face. William loved the outdoors and could be seen sitting on his front porch or going for walk daily. Every chance he got you would find him fishing. The only thing that he loved more than fishing was his family.

The family would like to thank Dr. Kendra and the staff of Martha Morehouse for the care and love they have given William over the last 22 months, and Hospice of Central Ohio for the loving care they provided over the last days of his life.
