

He was born in Melrose, WI on April 4, 1931 to the late Fred and Caroline (Hammond) Koehler. Additionally, he was preceded in death by nine siblings; son William M. Koehler; wife Francine Considine Koehler; second wife Linda Moccabee Koehler; step great-granddaughter Faith; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He is survived by daughter Pamela (James) Dlugos and stepchildren Edwin (Laura) Huber and Amberly (Scott) Kirkdall; grandchildren Danielle Koehler, Nicole (Reuben) Naranjo; step grandchildren Sarah Worley, Jacob Huber, Miranda Hritz and Mason Hritz; great grandchildren Nina, Koehler, Gavin, Blayze, Lhyric; step great grandchildren Maria, Trinity, Aubrianni, Lexi, Sidney and Dominic; numerous nieces and nephews, children of his siblings, Charles Koehler, Betty Prager-Ahnen, Elwood Koehler, Bonnie West-Evans, Norma Pease, Fred Koehler, Carol Wildenberg and Clair Koehler.
Bill was an electrical engineer and worked for Western Electric/AT&T/Lucent Technologies. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of Society of Sportsmen; additionally he enjoyed boating and golfing. Bill served in the United States Air Force from 1951-1955 and was Honorably Discharged with a rank of Airman First Class. He was a member of The Grand Lodge of F&AM of Ohio, Sunrise Lodge 783 and was a 32 Degree Mason, Aladdin Shriners, Fraternal Order of Eagles, AMVETS Post 89, Loyal order of the Moose, and VFW Post 15036.
Visitation will be held Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 2-3PM with a memorial service to include military honors beginning at 3PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd., Gahanna. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Kobacker House, 800 McConnell Drive, Columbus, 43214, or to a charity of choice.
