William C Loy

William C. Loy age 88 of Columbus passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2011. He was born November 18, 1922 in Dayton, OH. He was a veteran of the U.S Army Air Corp as Glider Pilot with the 72nd Squadron. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. His passion in life other than his family, was golf. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Veronica Loy, brothers Herbert Loy, Marvin Loy, and John Loy, sisters-in-law, Margaret Loy and Norma Loy. William is survived by his wife of sixty four years, Idella “Dell” Loy; his children: Cheryl Loy of Columbus, Marc Loy (Julie) of Utica, Don Loy of Columbus, and Gregg Loy of New York, NY; sister-in-law: Naomi Loy; grandchildren: Bartholomew Loy and FeiFei Loy; and numerous nieces, nephews & cousins. Family will receive friends Saturday from 2-5 PM at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST CHAPEL, 1740 Zollinger Rd.
