William Paul McClinton, age 84, of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Feb. 8, 2024. He was born in Columbus, Ohio on Dec. 10, 1939 to the late Eugene and Nannie (Jones) McClinton. He leaves behind his children Kimberly R. Bassett, Stephanie M. Bassett and William P. Bassett. Also surviving are fiancée Yvonne Turner and numerous grandchildren. William was a veteran who served in the US Army and was proud graduate of Columbus East High School. Visitation will be held on Tuesday Feb. 20, 2024 from 12Noon to 1PM at the Advantage Funeral & Cremations by Schoedinger – Hilltop Chapel, 3030 W Broad St., Columbus, Ohio 43204 where the funeral service will start at 1PM. Burial will follow in Green Lawn Cemetery. Celebrant Mark Dettmer will be officiating the funeral service.
