William Vern Paul Meyers

William Vern Paul Meyers, age 76, passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 21, 2010. He was born on April 30, 1934, in Lipsick, Ohio, to the late Max and Alice Mallott. Bill was a graduate of East High School and attended Capital University. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Bonnie Meyers; children, Rebecca (Brad) Liebling, Kimberly Cummings, Cyndi (Jeff) McCabe, Karen Breuninger (Rob Oliver), and Mike (Buffy) Hawkins; grandchildren, Brent, Adam, Claire, Jason, Amanda, Darik, Jarid, Samantha, Katie, Elizabeth, Shawn, Amanda, Amber, Hailey, and Jordan; 4 great grandchildren; longtime friends, Ronald (Phyllis) Larason; and his beloved St. Bernard, Max, and Pekingese, Lily. He was preceded in death by his son, Billy. Bill was an avid Ohio State fan, and he enjoyed going to garage sales and watching his favorite TV shows. Family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, July 25, 2010, at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Road, Gahanna. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home with Pastor Patrick Mauger officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
