It's taken me this long to put my thoughts in  order. I worked with Scott during his tenure with BDD as his clerical and during those years became his friend. Mark and Scott became buddies, it was fun to watch Scott 'advising' Mark doing electrical work: the two of them took more breaks than work getting completed, yet projects were always finished and worked correctly. My neighbors have decorated their homes for the holidays and when admiring their lights in the evening I often remember Scotty recalling how he'd load his daughters into the car to drive past decorated houses. He'd chuckle remembering their excited "Kithmas! Loook!" I find myself murmuring 'Kithmas' sometimes and smiling. Scotty loved to tease. Knowing I am not a fan of OSU"s Buckeyes he'd make a point of pretending to play the Fight Song on a trombone in my cubicle at work until I would kick him out, often with threats of pulling all his cases out of his file cabinet and piling them on his desk. He thought getting my goat was the best fun and would giggle on his way back to his desk too pleased with himself. He could be a little demanding to work with, but was always gracious in acknowledging one's efforts on his behalf. Scotty was good hearted, full of fun and loved to share and will be badly missed.

I was a co-worker of Scotts.  We would go out to lunch a couple times a week.  I remember one time he ordered a steak at Applebees and the cook came out and told Scott "If I burn one more steak I'm gonna get fired."   Scott went back to the kitchen with him and showed him how to cook the perfect steak.  I never forgot that.  Instead of just ordering something else Scott took his lunch break to teach this kid a skill that would save his job.  Scott could could be pretty blunt at times and had no time for political correctness, but he had a big heart.

Aloha to you Scott, 

You will be missed but I hold dear the memories of our childhood together.  

The lawnmower and the finger....guess who won?  Walking along the bottom ground at Grandmoo's home, playing "Dark" in the house, your Camero...what fun to drive, going to your graduation at Northwestern Military Academy, playing tennis together, Canada summers, the 50 roses you sent me on my 50th birthday, sharing our love for photography and your love for Hawaii and OSU football...you were a fanatic!!!  

Older brother, you will be missed, but the memories will last a lifetime.

Nancy and Tom purchased the Strength & Solace Spray for the family of William "Scott" Pace.

Ralph & Dale &Grant & Sharron McMillen purchased the Sweet Tenderness for the family of William "Scott" Pace.

As kids growing up, we shared many Christmases together.  Will miss the Quarterback Club luncheons together as well.  RIP, cousin Scott.

Basket of Memories was purchased for the family of William "Scott" Pace.

Scott was a member of Delaware Bible Church and sang bass in the Delaware Bible Church Choir.  I enjoyed his wry sense of humor and his faithful support of the Ohio State Buckeyes.  At the end of choir practice we always had a time of prayer.  Scott often asked for prayer for friends and family but seldom for himself.  I am so sorry for your loss and pray you will experience God's grace, comfort and peace through Jesus Christ.   Bob Johnson, Choir Director
