William H. Preston

William Heath Preston, age 88, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2010, at Arlington Court. He was born on November 16, 1921, to the late Charles and Beatrice Preston. He was a veteran of the US Army, an avid Ohio State fan, and he retired from Bowman’s Milk. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Preston; second wife, Carmel Dragoo; and sister, Betty Clark. Bill is survived by his daughters, Sally Preston, Cheryl (Charles) Reed, and Elizabeth Preston (Todd) Deavers; sons, William (Robin) Preston, and Sean (Eileen) Preston; children by marriage, Cheryl Maynard, Cathy Miller and husband Michael Murphy, Christal Waltz, and Bobby (Edie) Maynard; 15 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and special friends, Dooney Tickner and Bob Hashlinger. Bill’s family would like express their thanks to the caring staffs at Arlington Court and HomeReach Hospice.
