

William M. Randle, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, died suddenly on Sunday, January 24, 2010. Born in Florida in 1939, Bill’s early career was in the Navy, where he rose to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. The love of justice, order and truth he developed in the military was a hallmark of his character throughout his life. Colleagues in the banking industry best knew Bill for his pioneering work in the development of electronic banking. His friends knew him for his quiet sense of humor, his warmth, his wonderful rose bushes, and his pride in the accomplishments of his children. His parents, Frances Goff Randle and William Yancy Randle, preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife of twenty years, Betsy Randle; four sons, Bill Jr. (Vicki), Andrew (Laura), Stuart, and Wade; five granddaughters, Morgan, Danielle, Kylie, Lauren, and Drew; brother, John Randle (Maria) of Jacksonville, Florida; niece Tori Randle Farney; and nephew, John Paul Randle. Bill graduated from the University of Florida, and received his MBA from Loyola University. He was the inventor of numerous technologies for which he holds many patents. Bill was a retired Executive Vice President of Huntington Bancshares, Columbus, Ohio, and Founder and CEO of a software and technology company that catered to the banking, insurance, and telecommunication industry. Funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Bexley United Methodist Church, 2657 E. Broad St. Reverend Frank Luchsinger officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 P.M. Friday at SCHOEDINGER MIDTOWN CHAPEL, 229 E. State St. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Bexley Women’s Club Scholarship Fund, Bexley United Methodist Church, or to the Boy Scouts of America.
