

He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served during the Korean War and held many positions in his work history including: Jeffrey's Manufacturing, painting apprentice, aluminum siding installer, owning a food truck and retired as a siding salesman. During his retirement, he worked as a commercial painter with his best friend.
Bill had many likes and hobbies: golf, bowling, playing guitar, gambling, playing cards, dancing, telling jokes, magic and slight of hand tricks, history, visiting historical sights, watching sports and telling stories.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Shannon; among other family and friends.
Bill is survived by his daughters, Pamela Shannon and Cynthia Jerse; grandson, Fulton Skrobarczyk; brother Millard (Bud) Shannon, and sister- in- law Annette Shannon.
Private family service will be held at a later date.
