William Warner

William Andrew Warner, 81, of Grove City, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2011 at Mt. Carmel East. Born October 15, 1929, at Robertsburg, West Virginia, the third child of the late Charles William Warner and Daisy Mary Haught. Served in the U.S. Army from 1951-1955, stationed in Europe. He Retired from Electrolux and Huntington Banks and was a longtime member of Highland Baptist Church. Bill was an avid sportsman his entire life and spent most of retirement on the golf course or at flea markets. Surviving is his beloved wife of 57 years, Mauna Fae (Bennett) Warner, daughter, Sherry (John) Allen, son, Bill (Lisa) Warner, grandchildren, Billy (Daniell) Warner, Tim Warner and Brooke Warner. Preceded in death by sisters, Irene Cobb and Eva Warner. Survived by sister Iona Thornton and many nephews, nieces, cousins, golf buddies and special friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday September 25, 2011 from 2-5pm at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL 3920 Broadway. Funeral service will be held on Monday September 26, 2011 at the Highland Baptist Church 3460 Hoover Rd. Grove City, OH 43123 at 11 am with Pastor David Thomas officiating.
