He was born on November 13, 1949 in Columbus Ohio to the late Thomas and Wanda (Wood) Wise. He is also preceded in death by brother, Wayne Wise of Phoenix, Az.
Bill enlisted in the Army in his senior year of high school, which was 1968. Ft. Hood, TX was his home base. He was based in Korea from 1969 to 1970. Bill was honorably discharged later in 1970.
He will be greatly missed by sisters Kathy Jones of Columbus and Peggy Wise of Westerville as well as many other family members and friends.
A private family memorial was held Friday November 17, 2023 at Schoedinger North on Karl Road. Burial services will be held on a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 5455 N. High St, Columbus, OH 43214 in his memory.
