William Clay "Bill" Witten, age 61, passed away on Saturday, May 26, 2018. He was born in Mt. Vernon, Ohio on July 18, 1956 to the late George and Marilyn Witten. Bill was a 1974 graduate of Centerburg High School where he played football among other sports. He loved watching and playing sports and was an avid Bengals fan. He coached powderpuff football for two years and helped his sister, Vickie, coach softball each summer. Bill also enjoyed singing. He retired from Liebert Corporation and Walmart. He is survived by his son, William Thomas Witten; sister, Vickie Witten; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family will receive friends on Monday, June 4, 2018 from 5:00PM-8:00PM at the SCHOEDINGER EAST CHAPEL, 5360 E. Livingston Ave, Columbus, Ohio 43232. Graveside service will be held on Eastview Cemetery, Centerburg, Ohio at a later date. Contributions in Bill's memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
