Albert Will

Albert Will died at his home in Savannah, GA, on July 19, 2012. Born in Congers, NY, Mr. Will relocated to The Landings from Valley Cottage, NY in 2003. He was predeceased by his wife Eleanor, fiancee Anna Mae Vanderbilt, son Geoffrey, daughter Ginger, and grandsons Timothy and Christopher.

Mr. Will was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps. He attended the RCA Radio School after his military service. He retired as a member of the American Stock Exchange. He was a Specialist Broker on the floor of the Exchange and a member of the 5 and 20 Club. Mr. Will was a life member and 25 year volunteer for the Congers-Valley Cottage Volunteer Ambulance Corps. He served as both president and captain during his tenure. He volunteered with Meals on Wheels, the Boy Scouts, the Congers Fire Department (Captain), and as a youth baseball coach. He was an instructor with the American Red Cross. He was a long time member and past president of the Nyack Field Club.

Mr. Will is survived by his sons William, Brian, and Peter; daughters Lisa and Sarah; daughters-in-law Hope, Caroline, and Maureen; grandsons Nicholas and Trevor, granddaughters Neiko, Ticia, Rikki, Carrie, Kaylie, Brittany, and Samantha; and great-grandchildren, Oona and Jericho.

Friends may call Tuesday 3-5 and 7-9pm at the Higgins Funeral Home, 113 Lake Road, East Congers, NY. A Funeral service will be offered Wednesday 10am at the Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, Rockland Lake, NY.
