Carolyn Joan Campbell (nee Karolkowski) of Congers, NY passed away on October 16, 2017. She was 77. Carolyn, originally from the Bronx, NY was a long time resident of Congers, NY. She was born on October 21, 1939 to Elizabeth and Peter Karolkowski. Carolyn was a member of the American Legion in New City and the Congers Senior Group. She enjoyed playing golf and spending time with her daughter and grandchildren. Carolyn is survived by her daughter Donna Galaini and son-in-law Jay Galaini, her sister Marion Lawrence, brother Peter Karolkowski, grandchildren; Meghan and Michael Galaini and many nieces and cousins. She was predeceased by her loving husband Gerald Patrick Campbell. She will be missed by all that knew her. Family will receive friends on Friday October 20, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at Higgins Funeral Home, 113 Lake Rd. Congers, NY 10920. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday October 21, 2017 at St. Paul’s Church in Congers at 10am, Interment to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery in Congers, NY.
