Elisabetta Bartolotti

Elisabetta (Nina) Bartolotti, longtime resident of Congers, went home to the Lord on April 9, 2022. Daughter of the late Giuseppe and Caterina Bartolotti. Elisabetta was born in Maida, Italy, on June 18, 1936. She immigrated to Congers and made it her home. She was predeceased by her sisters: Benedetta Bartolotti, Sister Caterina Bartolotti, and Frances Colistra (Vincent).

Elisabetta is survived by her brother Michael Bartolotti (Carol). Also, she is survived by her children: Maria, Max (Patti), Joseph Martucci. She was blessed with many Grandchildren: Jessy, Tylor, Nicole, Deven, Megan, and Joseph Martucci. Great grandchild: Gabriella Martucci. She was blessed with many nieces and nephews: Maria (Gerry), Anthony (Sally), Kevin (Angela), Catherine (John), and Elizabeth (Eddie). She was predeceased by her niece, Michelle Bartolotti.

Elisabetta was an active member of St. Paul's/St. Ann’s Parish in Congers and she walked there daily. She loved baking, cooking, and planning for the holidays. Her Tiramisu was enjoyed by many. Elisabetta loved being surrounded by her family. She was a master at gardening, growing beautiful flowers, and enjoyed taking care of the chickens. Elisabetta was very thankful to her wonderful sister in law, Carol Bartolotti, for always finding the time to visit.

A very special thanks to Megan and Joseph who took care of and watched over their nonna everyday.

Family will receive visitors at Michael Higgins Funeral home in Congers, on Tuesday, from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, at 10am at St. Paul’s/St. Ann’s Church, Congers. Interment to follow at Gethsemane Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Oratory Priests Retirement Fund at Saint Paul’s Church in Congers.
