Harold Michael Hyde (Mike), 76, passed away on April 22,2026 due to complications from heart surgery. He was born in Nyack, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents Marilyn and Harold and his two brothers Tommy and David. He was a 1967 graduate of Nyack High School. He began his career as a young man with Local 817 and worked his way to Teamster Captain/Transportation Coordinator working on memorable movies such as the “Money Pit” in which he had a small speaking part. He was a member of Valley Cottage Fire Dept and a former Chief. Mike’s passion in life was playing golf and his yearly visit to Saratoga Racetrack. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Monika (Hill) and two daughters Kristin (Fred) and Michelle and five grandchildren Aiden, Dylan, Ryan, Leo and Margot.
A memorial Service will be held at Higgins Funeral Home, Lake Road, Congers, NY on May 8th2026, 2–6 pm.
