Phillip Sims Dell

Phillip Sims Dell, 82, of Conway, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on April 19, 2015. Phillip was born on April 6, 1933 in Leslie, Georgia to Benjamin Lovett Dell and Frances Lenoir Sims. He served 20 years in the United States Navy until his retirement as a chief in 1971. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Phillip is survived by his wife of 59 years, Norma Jo Dell, his children, Stephanie Kane (John), Stephen Dell, Greg Dell (Kaye Kaye), and Gary Dell (Vicki), his grandchildren, Nicole Burns, Sara Brock (Kenneth), Michael Kane (Heather), Jake Dell, Kara Hollinger (Daniel), Jessica Dell, and Sam Dell, and two great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Connor Brock. There will be a family service in Georgia at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Phillip’s name to Gideons International, World Vision, or the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews to honor his faith in Christ and love of helping others.
