

Dorothy supported her husband Col. Francis Grevemberg in his successful clean up of illegal gambling when he was Louisiana Superintendant of State Police. Her moral values and wholesome approach to living was a solid foundation for her family. She was born in New Orleans. She raised her twin sons in Baton Rouge. They moved back to New Orleans until forced out by hurricane Katrina. Col. Grevemberg died in 2008. She is survived by her identical twin sons, Francis J. “Pete” Grevemberg (wife Melissa Coleman) and Carroll S. Grevemberg (wife Alice Henderson), two grandchildren, David Grevemberg of Killearn, Scotland, and Elisa Grevemberg of Reims, France, and two great grandchildren Aidan and Audrey Grevemberg of Killearn Scotland.
The family requests donations to charities that support Alzheimer’s Research Center, 640 Jackson St., St. Paul, MN 55101 or The American Diabetes Association 3 Corporate Square, Ste. 120, Atlanta, GA 30329. Funeral services will be private. Dorothy will be laid to rest in the Grevemberg family tomb in St. Martinville, Louisiana.
