Virginia Hivinia McCoy Cochran

Virginia McCoy Cochran, age 83, of Conyers. Passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, Conyers Chapel (formerly Horis A. Ward, Rockdale Chapel), at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Nolan Jackson officiating. Interment will follow at Dawn Memorial Park, in Decatur.

A Georgian native, Mrs. Cochran retired as the manager of The Budget Shop. She was loved and will be greatly missed by her children, Jenny (Olin) Ashley, Sharon Ann Bloom, William Jerome (Lynnette) Cochran and Terry Lynn (Johnny Farrell) Puckett; 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and her 94 year old sister, Marie Green.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Leon Cochran and son, Robie Leon Cochran.
