Alfred was known for his outgoing personality and his ability to make friends wherever he went. He truly was the life of the party, always ready to strike up a conversation and make others laugh. Alfred worked as a bartender at Lone Butte Casino, where his warm spirit and friendly nature touched many people throughout the years.
A devoted sports fan, Alfred loved cheering for the Dodgers and the Rams. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing basketball and baseball. In his free time, he could often be found enjoying a drink with friends, attending sporting events, or catching a movie at the local theater.
Above all else, Alfred loved his children. They were the center of his world, and he treasured every moment spent with them.
He is survived by his children, Kaytlin Canner, Amare Canner, and Kyra Canner; his mother, Jovita M. Canner; and his siblings, Patrick Canner, Josie Swanson, Mary Strohm, Kathie Canner, Tina Peterson, Harold Canner Jr., and Martin Esquivel.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold G. Canner Sr.
