He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Gonzales; Mother, Ernestine Gonzales; Sister, Paula Gonzalez; Brother, Reuben Gonzales and step-daughter, Kendra Lewis. Daniel is survived by his Father, Alfredo Gonzales, Sr.; Brothers, John, Henry, Ralph, Thomas Gonzales and Mario Pablo; his Children, Alicia M. Jose, Anna R. Jose, Daniel Michael Gonzales, Dinah Lewis, Mary Jane Sam and William Lewis; his beloved Grand and Great-Grandchildren.
Daniel loved to spend time with his family, playing cards, laughing and joking. He was a movie fanatic and an avid Dallas Cowboy and Arizona Diamondback fan. Daniel was strong willed and stubborn at times, but he also had an enormous heart and wonderful sense of humor. He was generous, loyal, and brave.
He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them- and if you knew him, you knew it. When his time came, he carried himself with dignity, strength, and full of love for those who went before him. He will be missed dearly.
Graveside services will be held at the East Sacaton Cemetery on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at 5:00am.
