Imogene was a quiet and gentle soul who often kept to herself, yet she carried a deep love and cared for everyone and everything around her. She had a special connection with nature and animals, finding joy in sitting outside, feeding the birds, and watching hummingbirds flutter nearby. Though she loved being outdoors, she preferred the warmth of the sun and was not fond of the cold. Music was also a part of her life, and while she enjoyed many kinds, gospel music held a special place in her heart.
She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and partner. Imogene is survived by her son, Andrew(Mardine) Lyons; her grandchildren whom she lovingly raised, Edwards Lyons, Mervin Lyons, Marceline Lyons, Randall Lyons, Dawn Lyons, and Felicia Lyons; her sister, Ione Lyons; her significant other, Marvin Enos; her grandchildren, Christopher and Nicole Lyons, and many other family members whose lives she touched and helped shape.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Minnie Cross; her brothers and sisters; and her nephew, Edward Lyons, who passed shortly after her.
