She was born on July 6, 1956, to Cipriano and Stella Ochoa. As a child, Jacquelyn traveled extensively due to her father’s military service, an experience that allowed her to see many places and shaped her adaptable and resilient spirit.
Jacquelyn was known for her strong work ethic and her unwavering honesty—she never held anything back and always spoke her mind. Above all, she cherished her family. She was deeply devoted to her children, and being a grandmother brought her immense joy. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, creating memories that will be treasured for years to come.
Family meant everything to Jacquelyn. She is survived by her daughter, Ayet Jackson; her son, Manuel Garcia; and her many beloved grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Melinda Garcia; her son, Andrew Rodriguez; and her parents, Cipriano and Stella Ochoa.
Jacquelyn will be remembered for her strength, her honesty, and the deep love she had for her family. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
