He was the only son in his family and proudly known as a big momma’s boy. Jason was a caring and loving man who always made time to help others. He was a devoted family man, cherished for his humor and his love of being surrounded by those he cared for.
A passionate Arizona Cardinals fan, Jason’s love for sports extended beyond watching games—he dedicated time to coaching youth sports, inspiring the next generation. When not on the field, he enjoyed watching a wide range of TV shows, from sci-fi series like Alien Resident to Cops and even Bigfoot documentaries, reflecting his curiosity and lively spirit.
Jason was always busy, rarely still, finding joy in the outdoors, especially tending to the cattle on the fields, where he felt most at home.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sara; his children Jamal, Aaron, Joshua, Jason Jr., and Nia; his parents; siblings Cheyenne Gurrola and Star Pratt; his godson Noah Pratt; and his stepchildren Isaias Morendo, Miah Gregg, Ghaston Gregg, BrieAnn Dixon, Sophia Gregg, Laura Gregg, and Nikolai Gregg.
Jason’s warmth, energy, and dedication to family and community will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
