Rosalyn Lewis

It is with profound sorrow and deep respect that we announce the passing of Rosalyn Lewis, aged 80, who departed this life on June 2, 2025. Born to the beloved Wendalyn and Harriett Marks on September 1, 1944, Rosalyn embraced life with a warmth and joy that touched all those around her.

In her cherished moments of leisure, Rosalyn found delight in puzzles, games, and sewing, activities that ignited her creativity and passion. Yet, it was in the presence of her great-grandchildren that her spirit truly shone; their visits filled her heart with unbounded joy, her radiant smile illuminating every room.

Rosalyn is now reunited in eternal peace with her parents, Wendalyn and Harriett, and her great-grandson, Israel Edwin Diaz, a loss that has left an indelible mark on all who knew them.

She is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Lawrence Lewis, and her treasured children: Cherie Lewis, Dean Lewis, David Lewis, and Laura Lewis. The family extends to encompass ten grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren, alongside her beloved siblings, Thomas Marks and Patricia Spaulding.

In honor of her remarkable life, services will be held on Monday, June 16, 2025, with a visitation commencing at 4:00 PM at The Cole and Maude Coolidge Chapel. The following day, Tuesday, June 17, 2025, a rosary will be recited at St. James Catholic Church at 9:30 AM, followed by a mass at 10:00 AM.
