Teresa Shaw

Teresa Shaw, 69, of Cactus Forest, passed away February 19, 2026, at home. Teresa was born to William and Deann Barton in Bountiful, Utah, where she graduated high school from. It was love at first sight when she met Robert, the love of her life, and they were married in 1976, beginning a lifelong partnership filled with devotion and laughter.

Teresa loved being a mother, and even more, being a grandmother. Her family was her greatest joy and proudest accomplishment.

She was truly an outdoors person and felt most at home under open skies. She enjoyed off-road jeeping, camping, fishing, and hunting. She loved the beauty of Arizona and especially its breathtaking sunsets. Each evening, she would sit on her patio with a drink in hand, peacefully watching the sun dip below the horizon. She also loved to read, particularly novels by Stephen King, always eager to dive into a good story. Teresa was a loyal friend, fun to be with, and someone who brought warmth and laughter wherever she went.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Robert M. Shaw; her children, Jesse Shaw and Allison Ball; and her cherished grandchildren, Xeric Shaw, Corbin Shaw, and Carly Ball.

Services will be held later in Utah.

Teresa will be deeply missed, but her love, spirit, and the sunsets she treasured will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
