Beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend, ANTHONY ROY-KENNETH RUSH "REAPER" touched so many lives. Rush was passionate about his teammates at Ryan Companies, all of the organizations he was a part of, his music, and even more passionate about his fellow veterans. He proved time and time again that he would Always Do the Right Thing through his compassion towards others. Rush always focused on the strengths of everyone that he was around. He was involved in dozens of veteran organizations, Free-Masons, CVMA, Battle Buddies, was a multiple state and Sub masters record holder in the state of MN, an adjunct professor at Dunwoody's Construction Management program, led the veteran group at Dunwoody, and founded and co-led the Veteran Employee group at Ryan- all while leading construction projects! Rush was very vocal about mental health and suicide prevention; educating all of us and providing resources to help loved ones cope with mental health challenges. Rush was a Purple Heart recipient with one tour in Iraq and two tours in Afghanistan; reminding us of the sacrifices made by our veterans and their families. He left this earth on Tuesday, July 27, 2021, but looks down from Heaven, watching over all of us.
He has his father Brian Rush, grandparents Ken and Joan Rush, Roy and Katherine Maki, many friends, and his ride or die, Tripp by his side.
To remind us of him, he leaves: his wife, Rachel; his parents Karen and Greg Dupre; in-laws Bob and Carolyn Johnson; his sisters and brother in-laws; Nicole and Chris Lucas, Alicia and Brian Williams, and Kara Dupre; his nieces, Taylor and Tori Lucas; his nephews, Brock, Aidan, and Cameron Williams, along with his cherished relatives and many wonderful friends. He will truly be missed.
