Barb will be deeply missed by her longtime companion, Brian McCallson and his son Brian Jr.; sisters, Jeannie Ecker, Rebecca Kamrowski, Kay (Norm) Cook, Delina (Michael) McCallson; 10 nieces and nephews; 16 great-nieces and nephews; many cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
Barb was preceded in death by her son, Michael Allen; husband, Mark McCallson; mother, Betty (Berry) Ecker; father, Donald Ecker; brother, Kenneth Ecker.
Barb graduated from Coon Rapids High School in 1985. She worked for 19 years at K-Mart in Blaine. She finished her working career at Hoya Vision Care, where she made many special friendships. Barb was always in the mood to go on a trip with her sisters and cousins. She enjoyed being outdoors going camping, fishing, and gardening. She also spent time card making, painting, baking, and attending craft shows.
Visitation will begin at 12:30pm until time of service at 2pm on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids.
