Caro and Eloyce loved to travel and spent many summers at their lake cabin. They loved going to the casino in Hinckley together - enjoying gambling, concerts, and time with friends. Caro was an avid birdwatcher and created numerous birdhouses. He enjoyed 35 years of retirement after leaving Spicer Dana Corp. when he was 55. Caro spent a lot of time in the garage working on special projects with his welding (these many projects became cherished family keepsakes). He was a great listener and had a creative soul.
He was preceded in passing by his beloved wife of 65 years, Eloyce Haigh.
Caro is survived by his children, Steve (Kelly) Haigh and Connie (Roger) Kuehn; grandchildren, Ryan, Mike, Carrie, Randy, and Richie; great-grandchildren; several bonus grand and great-grandchildren; and many other family members and friends.
Join us to honor Caro's life on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, MN. Visitation from 12 - 1 pm, service at 1 pm, and burial to follow at Morningside Memorial Gardens. Luncheon will be held at Gearhart after the burial.
