I’ve been blessed to know Casey since she was about 1 yr old, and I was a young teen. This precious, sweet, adorable- blonde haired toddler, made me immediately fall in love with her. She loved swinging on the swing-set at my house, going to the park, reading books- this peanut was so incredibly smart and advanced for her age. I babysat her, with her adorable siblings some and tagged along for family outings, which meant so much to me. I watched her become a Mother herself, her children were her world. My daughter also babysat for her. She worked a while for my Grandma as a PCA during my Grandma’s last years. My Grandma called her- ‘her guardian angel.’ Casey went far above and beyond in her job duties as a PCA. I’m so incredibly proud of her for so many reasons. And forever thankful for our close relationship, bond and just being in her life. Case was loved beyond measure by so many on this earth- will always be loved.. esp by her children, Nick, parents & siblings. She’s still with us all. Forever loving you, Casey.❤️

Casey, it’s been awhile since I’ve seen you. So very crushed to learn you passed on. We grew up in the same neighborhood, same schools. I was happy we got to be friends in middle school. You were such a kind and unique person. So refreshing to be around. I’ll always remember helping paint your room pink and black. The time you made Mac and cheese and told me you had a phobia of the tiny bubbles. The fun I had playing a ‘toilet’ kids game where we would flush green scuzzies. You will be missed very much by so many. I wish your family and children nothing but blessings, and am thinking of them. Hope to see you on the other side girlfriend! 

I met Casey in November 2021. Her and her children were shopping for home improvements. As soon as we met, I knew she was special and we had a connection.  I'm her Fleet Farm Mom. 



Casey, your dad was my best friend when we were kids... and I had the honor of being your godfather. Not a very good one, I'm afraid; life took us all in different directions and I was lousy at staying in touch. But I've found myself smiling at memories of you when you were little, marching through the house and proclaiming "Peanut butter and peanut butter, and peanut butter ALL THE WAY!" I never knew what that meant but it made me smile then and now. 

I will miss that I never got to know you as well as I could have, but I am grateful that I knew you a little. I'm so sorry you are gone so soon. Love always... Christopher

Survivng are her parents Jeffrey &amp; Nicole; her two children Jayson &amp; Brooklyn; her five siblings: Amber Mekosch, Jaymee Mekosch, Dannie Mekosch, Brianne Mekosch, and Nicholas Mekosch; and nephew, Kayden Woods; and her maternal grandmother, Marlys Larsen.
