

She was born on February 3, 1918, in Fomento, Cuba.
Survived by devoted Husband of 69 years Alberto; Daughters Celerina Gonzalez (Mark Griffin) and Diana Gonzalez Ettel (Roger); Grandchildren Jordan (Kelle), Peter (Mandy), Annie, Mark, Andrew and Daniel; two Great-grandchildren; Siblings, Pascual, Estefana, Pascacio, Josefina and Lucia; Loving Relatives and Friends
Celerina graduated from the Universidad de La Habana Medical School in 1943, and practiced as a pediatrician in Cuba. At age 50, she immigrated to the United States and retrained as a physical medicine and rehabilitation physician. Celerina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She had a generous, kind heart and went out of her way to help those in need. A lifelong Baptist, she had a deep religious faith and loved to read the Bible every day. She was an excellent doctor and an accomplished seamstress. We will miss her dearly.
