 I am shocked! It is July 30, 2019 and I am just finding this obituary for the very first time. I had no idea that you died Chuck!  OMG, you died exactly the same way Lynn did.    That is soooo strange. 
My heartfelt condolences go to the whole family, especially the peeps I spent so many years sharing Christmas Eve with at your house while you cooked like a chef for all of us.  Those were good times. Now both you and Lynn are gone, but the memories remain. My heart goes out to Katie and Cody who have lost you both :(

I dont have any pictures..but load to run into chuck..he always had big hug for me..and oh how he smiled and laughed..he made me feel so good no matter what mood I was in!
My thought and prayers are with you all on this day..but he will forever be in my thoughts.you will be missed Chuck...

I and my wife had went thru a trajectory in our lives... having lost everything... I landed a job with twin express... where chuck worked... God I made so many mistakes but chuck kept encouraging me he was patient but wasn’t afraid to crawl my ass when I needed it... he warned me to be aware of one certain individual that worked there but told me not to worry about it because he and rich had my back ... to just do my job do my best and that he had plenty of loads for me... that was the morning of the night God called chuck home... chuck was one of the best men I’ve met in a long long time... I now see why The president of the company thought so highly of chuck... the world lost a great soul the day chuck passed but heaven gained beyond measure... chuck thank u so much... I can’t believe your gone...we had just talked... love u bro... and thank you for helping and believing in me... thank you for the encouraging words u spoke to my wife and I... you will be forever missed... into the living arms of God you now are at rest ... miss u big bro

We all know my brother can tell a very good, convincing story.  One day he told me that the Rolling Stones song "You Can't Always Get What You Want" had roots to the old Excelsior Amusement Park where Mick Jagger was in line with someone who couldn't get a cherry coke.  I was like "whatever! you expect me to believe that??"  He promptly said 'fact check it'.  Which I did and found this little nugget:

According to a legend, it was in his capacity as town ambassador that Hutmaker attended a concert by the Rolling Stones at the Danceland Ballroom at Excelsior Amusement Park in 1964. The next day Mick Jagger was having a prescription filled at Bacon's Drugstore when he encountered Hutmaker again. Hutmaker complained to Jagger that he had ordered a Cherry Coke but received a regular Coca-Cola instead, then dismissed his own complaint, saying "You can't always get what you want."

I stood corrected....and he has since reminded me of that and frequently told me to fact check it when telling his many stories.  Likely most were far from the truth but knowing I probably wouldn't doubt him anymore.  

I will miss him dearly but find comfort in knowing how consistently he brought smiles and laughter to all of us in his presence.

Chuck was such an amazing guy, we love him with all our heart. 
Always kind, always fun, always willing to help.
Mike and I considered him our best friend. He will be deeply missed.
