Age 63, died August 24th, 2010, with her family by her side.
She was born June 29, 1947, in Sleepy Eye to George and Lilly Fischer. She
graduated from Sleepy Eye High School in 1965. She met her husband Dwight at Folwell Hall at the University of Minnesota. She spent summers on lakes sailing with her husband and children. She devoted much of her time and energy taking care of her beloved family and she enjoyed activities that brought the family together.
Deanna will be missed by her loving husband of 43 years, Dwight; daughter, Jennifer and son, Daron (Amy); 2 grandsons, Jonathan and Aaden; 2 brothers, 4 sisters, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to The Sleepy Eye Education Foundation. A Celebration of Life will take place on Wed. Sept. 8th at 11 a.m. Visitation 10:30 a.m. at the Emmanuel Christian Center 7777 University Ave. NE in Spring Lake Park. Private Interment at Morningside Memorial Gardens.
