Rice, Doris J. Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, age 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on 9/3/14. As a charter employee, she was the head baker at Unity Hospital for 25 years. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Chet. Survived by children, Edward (Darlene), Charles (Jennifer), Daniel, Kenneth (Becky), Gail (Mike) Lambrecht and Denise Rice; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; sisters, Darlene Morse of Fridley and Dena Zahn of Blaine. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to have known her or enjoyed one of her many delicious baked goods over the years. The family would like to thank all of the friends, family and caregivers for the support they have given.
