Dureen Marie Leason

Dureen is survived by children Kenneth Leason, Barbara Pahl, Charlene Bridgeman and husband Ken, Curtis Leason, Byron Leason and wife Jennifer, and Deborah Leason; grandchildren Michelle Dupree, Eric Pearson and wife Taylor, Bobbi Richard and husband Josh, Tim Bridgeman and wife Jessica, Kent Bridgeman and wife Tara, Nathan Bridgeman, Paul Leason and fiancée Soizic, Grant Leason, Kaelin Ireland and husband Paul, Dylan Leason and wife Leah, Kyle Leason; great grandchildren Kira, Ryane and Aelyn Pearson, Waverly Bridgeman, Violet Bridgeman, Luke, Corban, Liset, Jotham, Micha, Elam, Zion and Eveli Ireland, Sylvia Leason, and Ginny, Lilly Richard.

Dureen was born in Benton MN on December 28 1940 to Louis and Tillie Bujarski. She was the youngest of four children. Her siblings were Clemence (deceased), Marcel (deceased) and Lester (deceased). She grew up in Foley MN and married Kenneth Leason (deceased) in 1957. Dureen and Ken were married for 37 years. Dureen was primarily a homemaker but also worked outside the home in a variety of administrative positions. She had strong family values.

Dureen believed in Jesus Christ and tried to follow His ways daily the best she could. Dureen opened up her home to several people in need of a home temporarily thereby giving the people an opportunity to get on their feet. Dureen passed her Christian faith on to her children and her love for animals and gardening to her grandchildren.

Dureen’s Funeral Service will be Friday, February 25 2022 at 4pm at Gearhart Funeral Home (11275 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids MN) with visitation at 3:30pm on the same day. Private Interment Calvary Cemetery.
