Age 78, of Alexandria, Minnesota
Passed away March 9, 2025.
Preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Darryle Olson; sister, Debra Seger; brother-in-law, Lynn Seger.
Survived by his life partner, Susan Novak; son, Troy (Jessica) Olson; daughter, Rhonda (Ross) Olson; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; siblings, Lor (Sandy) Olson, Greg Olson, Sheryle Lindberg. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Gary served in the United States Navy, completing two tours of duty during the Vietnam war. Gary was a lifetime carpenter building homes, which lead to his love of woodworking. Gary and Susan owned and operated Hillcrest Motel in Luverne, Minnesota for 25+ years.
Private services will be held.
Interment Morningside Memorial Gardens in Coon Rapids, Minnesota.
