Kaylin and Billy added one more Princess to their castle on 06/25/2022 at 7:51 pm, a peanut at just 5lbs 5oz. Instantly, she brought so much joy and laughter into their household. Her wide eyes, and toothless smile cast light over everyone she encountered. Ivanna enjoyed wearing cute outfits for Mommy, flying in the air with Daddy and posing for the perfect pictures with her 3 big sisters, Chevelle, Savannah and Corvair.
On a regular day, you could find her gazing at Daddy while he talked, splashing in the bathtub, laughing while getting her diaper changed (which was oddly one of her favorite things in the world) and sharing tickles and giggles with her sisters.
On 12/29/2022, Ivanna was taken to the Urgency Room with a fever that kept spiking. After a few hours, she was offered a diagnosis of RSV, something a lot of parents deal with this time of year. But they knew something wasn't right.
Just hours after leaving the Urgency Room, Kaylin and Billy took Ivanna into Children's Hospital in St. Paul insisting that they test her for Meningitis. Unfortunately, they were right.
Kaylin and Billy's worst fears came true as they realized the infection had taken everything from their sweet baby who was opening her first Christmas presents just days prior. No parent is ever prepared to experience what they would over the next few days.
Ivanna spent her last days surrounded by family who love her so deeply. She got to snuggle everyone one more time, take a bath and got her little toes painted burgundy a color that complimented her perfectly with pink fingernails.
Ivanna is survived by her parents, Kaylin Fechter and William Angell; sisters, Chevelle, Savannah and Corvair; grandparents, Neal Myers and Carrie Myers, Jim and Jodi Marxer; aunts, Chloe and McKenzie Newton, Lyndsay Bleiler, Grace Johnson; uncles, Taylor and Nathan Myers; cousins, Mason and Vincent; great-grandparents, Rita and Gordy Pietruszewski; great-grandparents, Dave and Linda Johnson; godmother, Keesha Johnson; great-aunts Debbie Clipson, Tami Peterson, Jeana Johnson and Annette Vetse. great-uncle, Robert (Sandra Morgan) Peterson; Along with many other cousins and family friends.
