It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jesse Lee Quarles, who was born on December 2, 2004. He will forever be remembered as he was, forever 19, the epitome of youth, passion, and tireless hustle.
Jesse was predeceased by his beloved great-grandparents, his grandfather, Jeffery Hobbs, and his uncle, Aaron Blackledge.
Jesse is survived by his parents, Joy Quarles, Jefferson and Jamie Hobbs, his siblings Joseph Quarles, Jaydin Quarles, Jon Quarles-Hobbs, Jaylin Quarles, Breyanna Hobbs, and Caydin Hobbs, as well as many family members and friends who love and miss him dearly.
A force to be reckoned with, Jesse was passionate about staying active and enjoyed a dynamic and energetic lifestyle. His favorite ways to exercise, which include running, weight-lifting, and playing football, were a testament to his dedication towards health and fitness. Jesse's determination was not confined to the gym or the field, it was a defining characteristic of his persona.
Jesse’s smile and unique sense of humor were his trademarks. Despite facing challenges with his mental health, he maintained a resilient spirit and often used his experiences to help and uplift others, though he kept much of his struggle private.
Professionally, Jesse worked as a painter and had plans to start working alongside his sister Jaydin in Minnesota.
Jesse's love for music was another aspect of his multi-faceted personality. The rhythm, beat, and lyrics of the music he loved mirrored the tempo at which Jesse lived his life: fast, determined, and full of zest. The energy that he brought to every room will be remembered by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. His hustle, both literally in his day-to-day life and figuratively in his pursuit of his passions, will always be a cherished memory for those who loved him.
Though his time with us was tragically short, Jesse Quarles left an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be remembered for his love of music and hustle. His flame may have been extinguished far too soon, but the light he shed during his brief journey will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
