He passed away quickly on December 21, 2023 at the age of 83. He was born on September 9th, 1940 to John and Alice Andrusko in Minneapolis MN. After high school, he enrolled at a trade school and became a Pipefitter. John had a mechanical mind and was called "The Handyman" in both his and his wife's families. Using his ingenuity, he went to the library and studied how to build a house and then proceeded to do so. At age 63, he decided to take a risk and open his own business and built a gas fireplace showroom from the studs up. John was a quieter guy with a great, dry sense of humor and (per the picture) had a love for anything chocolate and sweet. A good christian man who loved his family dearly. He will be deeply missed. He leaves behind his wife of 58 years Merle Andrusko, daughter Jill Andrusko and sons John Andrusko Jr. and Todd Andrusko.
There will be a ceremony to spread John's ashes at a later date in the spring.
