John "Jack" McKelvey

Age 81, of Clear Lake Passed away unexpectedly May 14, 2016

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Homer and Agnes; and his Brothers, Jim, Don and Bob.

Jack was survived by his Loving Wife of 43 years, Judy McKelvey; Children, Robin (Leander) Schlosser, Todd Helmer

and Jackie McKelvey; Granddaughters, Angela, Paige and Kari;

Grandson, "little" Jack McKelvey; Brothers, Dick and Doug (Gail).

Jack was a Minneapolis Police Officer for 25 years; after his retirement from the police force he went on to do different things to keep busy, he enjoyed politics very much and served as the Mayor of Andover for 8 years. He was a long time Andover and Clear Lake Lions member and enjoyed giving his time to help others. Jack dedicated his life to volunteering in, and to serving the

communities in which he lived and he always used his time and energy to make his community a better place.

Jack enjoyed spending time "up north" at his cabin in Fifty Lakes for the past 30 years. There he enjoyed fishing and just relaxing and spending time with his family.

He will be greatly missed by all.

and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
