Vilma and kids - I am saddened to hear of Joe's passing.  Cherish the memories you have of him as they will carry you through these sad times.  I remember all of you well - visits with Joe and Vilma at Bud and Betty's house, "picnics" on the kitchen floor with Vilma, watching all of you kids playing outside with Jeff and Melissa...  Such good memories.  Take care and be good to yourselves.

VILLMA sorry about the loss of sunny and not being able to come there for the funeral. not for the wanting go there just not enough money for the plane ticket! He is going to be greatly missed!

I am very sad about your loss, Velma and the kids and the loss of a very special person to me. My Uncle! He always told me to do something for a living that I would love. I became a Machinist like my Uncle, Joe and I have been dammed proud of it. I have had bad day's and good days in the trade. I have never regreated his advise about getting in the trade. Most of the time I have enjoyed going into work, but like in any trade you are going to have those bad days. All I can say is I hope Joe was proud of me. He was always a strong infulanse on me, which I respected highly. God bless Joe in the afterlife! Mark Marshik

I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing. Praying for you all at this very difficult time. Vilma I will always remember your funny stories about Joe complaining that you had too many plants in the house. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear about Joe. He was a good friend and best man at my wedding. He was a fiercely independent and loyal friend. He will be missed. He helped me through trying and difficult times, always had time for me when I needed it. I have been friends with him for almost 40 years. We would spend hours talking about how God enters into His Creation. The most fascinating conversation I have had with anyone. He loved talking about the Great Spirit and the Native American culture. Next time I see an Eagle, I will know, You are free, my friend.

Rest well old man.  You certainly deserve it.

The day Sonny died I had talked about him with my sister Marilyn.  We talked about the afternoon Sonny and Vilma visited, bringing, to my delight, Panama coffee.  It was the last time I saw him.  Sonny was skilled, clever, and he came a long way, making a life for himself and his family.  He made me proud to be his cousin.  I am sorry I can not join you to say goodbye to him.  Our generation was rich in cousins, and each death makes us poorer.
