Preceded in death by loving wife of 48 years, Lorraine; parents, Frank and Pauline; brothers, Bob (Babe) and Joe.

Survived by 5 children, Jim (Sue), Judy (Larry) Stellenberg, John (Luba), Jane (Scott) Schwartz, Janet (Denne) Nelson; 14 grandchildren, Mary (Rob), Lisa, Kim (Steve), Larry Jr. (Maria), Kelly, Brittany (Jeremy), Nic (Casey), Jessica, Colton, Alex, Courtney, Kiki, Ben, Zack; 6 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kelly, Isaac, Matthew, Emily, Anna; sisters and brother, Ione Gonsorowski, Frank (Jewelle), Lorraine (Wayne) Olson, Pauline (Jim) Fisher; nieces and nephews.

Leo grew up in northern Minnesota, graduated from Monroe High School in St. Paul, was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and a proud president of UAW Local 722 . A loving husband, father, grandpa (PaPa), brother, uncle, cousin, friend, fishing buddy and great storyteller. Leo loved the outdoors, sports and was dedicated to his family. He will be greatly missed.

Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, November 19, 11 AM, St. Joseph of the Lakes Catholic Church, 171 Elm Street, Lino Lakes. Visitation Friday, November 18, 4-7 PM with prayers at 6 PM, Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Boulevard NW, Coon Rapids, and one hour prior to Mass at church. Burial St. Joseph's Cemetery, Lino Lakes.
