Miss you every day, old friend. I am so grateful to have known you.

I knew Mary by working with her in the 3s Primary care clinic...I was in charge of the morning clinic and she was in the afternoon resident clinic. Always a hard worker...Loved talking about the boys...I would answer the phone when little Benjamin and Phillip would call and ask..."is my mom there?" We stayed friends when she was the mental health msa's supervisor...we would meet for lunch periodically. We were friends up in the fourth floor where she was excited about renewing her vows with Andy. Still friends while fighting cancer...very respected individual and is missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Mary in Mental Health.  She was an amazing person.  Always said hi, 90 % of the time she had a smile on her face unless she was on a mission.
Rest well Mary, thank you for your Service to our Country and our Veterans.  We miss you.  Gone But not forgotten.

You will be greatly missed. Thank you for showing me what a true friend was when I had really lost hope. It's because of you that I fought through it all, and won. You will always be remembered as a great friend, mother, and wife as well as a heck of a worker so dedicated through it ALL. Thank you for letting me get to know you outside of work. I enjoyed U.S. spending all that time together very much.

I remember 4 kids, a ST Bernard and Fox Terrier packed in the back of a station wagon and no seatbelts frolicking around at 70 MPH
I remember sledding at the park, sitting on the roof smoking, and bouncing on the couch until the springs wore out
I remember White Castle at 2 a.m., hitchhiking down Lake Street, and 3 for quarter songs on the jukebox at the Laundromat until they kicked us out and cold water from Pliams
I remember Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpas, and the Greyhound trip we took to California together
I remember your pride in enlisting the Army
I remember you gave me the honor of giving you away at your wedding
I remember your strength, courage and determination
I remember the good and the bad of our life

I wish I would of known Mary alot longer then her time in CI. She was truly a woman of love and admiration. Mary always turned a bad situation into something to laugh about or just brush off. She loved to have get family/friend get togethers, which I would like to help carry on. I will truly miss her and will never forget her smart remarks due to things takening forever. Mary texted me "to many chiefs and not enough indians", she knew how to get things done right and quickly. Thank you Mary for the wonderful times, you are now free.

I was glad I was able to spend time with Mary the last several months  She was always willing to explain her condition to me so I could better understand what she was going thru. 
she let me hug her and said I love you back when I told her. The ladies will continue our lunches together and know you are with us.

I appreciated witnessing the love you gave your family, your beautiful, comfortable, hospitable home and your straight forward, no nonsense approach to life. I am glad you are reunited with your family in Heaven and pray for the loved ones you left here on earth to one day join your party in Heaven. Say Hi to Dad too, will you?! Give him a big hug and kiss from me XOXO ;-) I was just remembering the time at the family reunion in 2007 when there was a sing along at the picnic with your Mom and my Dad ... that's what I imagine you guys are doing up there now ... a big family reunion sing along ... that makes me smile and cry at the same time ... love you all!     I had the pleasure of working with Mary through our common work efforts, and truly appreciated the honest collegiality and friendship she extended to me in every single interaction. Although I regret that I never got to meet Mary in person, she absolutely supported me and the efforts to ensure quality care delivery for the veterans, and profoundly touched my life. Mary was a sister in law, aunt, grandmother,  sister,  daughter but the role she loved the most was a wife and mother.   Andy was her life partner.   They traveled together and enjoyed each other's company.    Being a mom to Andy, Philip, Ben and Danny were one of the things she did best.   Mary had an effect 
on everyone she met.    Andy, Laura, Andy, Philip, Ben, Danny, Andrew, Mariah,  Spencer, Caleb and Ella you were very lucky to have her love and devotion.   All relatives, friends and coworkers were lucky to have known her.   She will be missed and will always be there when we need her.  All we need d to do is ask and she will try to help.

I had the pleasure of working with Mary through the Continuous Improvement department at the MPLS VA. Her and I had a great working relationship right from the start. She was easy to work with, helpful and always attentive to details.

I admired her courage and determination as she moved forward on her journey with cancer. She was a fighter and never seemed to give up.

Keeping your family close in thought and prayer as you all move forward without Mary. I know that she is watching over you all.

I was fortunate to have known and worked with Mary at the VAMC. She was a dedicated employee, a wonderful coworker, and a caring person. She will be truly missed by all of us in the Quality Department.

I had the pleasure of working with Mary during my tenure at MVAHCS, and she was a wonderful colleague and team member.  Mary was a very skilled,  hard worker - very reliable and  committed to quality care for the Veterans. She brought a great blend of technical savvy, team skills, and expert knowledge to our QM team - and a deep core of integrity to always do the right thing.

Mary made a lot of contributions to MVAHCS, and to the QM department.  I'm so grateful I had the chance to get to know her and work with her.  I learned a lot from Mary  - both at work and about life in general and the challenges we all face.  She was also a great story teller and had a wonderful laugh !

She loved her family, and was so deeply appreciative of the support,   care and concern from family and friends as she fought against her disease.

Mary will be sorely missed.

I worked with Mary for almost 3 years at the VA Hospital in the Continuous Improvement Office. She was like no other woman I have ever met. She had all of her boys (men) pictures all over her desk. She was proud of EVERY one of them. Andy was her rock throughout life.  She will be dearly missed by all of us. I will continue to pray for comfort during your time of need.

I feel so blessed to have worked with Mary. She was such a hard worker and had a great sense of humor.  I loved her no-nonsense work ethic. The quality of her work was great.  I am so thankful for her faith, family, and friends she had for support and am relieved she is no longer in pain. Would love to hear her thoughts and see her smile as she is now looking down at all of us. What a great role model she was for all of us. We will all miss her.

I worked with Andy at Metro Transit and never had the privilege of meeting his lovely wife, Mary.   As I went through the photo gallery, I could see the love and happiness you shared as a family.  You have all your wonderful memories to help sustain you in this difficult time.   Prayers for all.

It was a pleasure to have worked with Mary.  Her attention to detail and ethical standards were both appreciated.  Her abiding faith in the face of her health challenges was an inspiration.

I had the privilege of hiring Mary here at the VAMC many years ago. Mary was a hard worker and one you could count on to get the job done. Mary blossomed in her career here and she was well respected and loved. She is greatly missed and she was a wonderful caring person and loved her family.
